If you booked a room, please ensure you have received a confirmation number. For any questions about your stay, contact La Cantera Resort & Spa directly at 210-558-6500. Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you need a late check-out, please arrange this during check-in.

San Antonio Airport is roughly a 20-minute drive to La Cantera Resort & Spa. Shared shuttle, Uber and Lyft services are available to/from the airport at your own expense. 

 

Parking

Self-parking is complimentary, and the front desk will waive the charges upon check-in. If you choose valet parking, the cost is $15 for daily use and $40 per night. Valet parking is at your own expense.

La Cantera provides electric vehicle charging services. This service is available for an overnight valet fee of $40 plus tax.

 

Shuttle Service

La Cantera Resort offers a complimentary shuttle service for guests to enjoy attractions surrounding the resort. Availability is limited and is available only by request. Visit the concierge or front desk to schedule.

Stops include: 

  • The Shops at La Cantera
  • The Rim
  • Six Flags

Any other location within a five-mile radius will incur a $20 fee per trip, charged at the discretion of the front desk and concierge. The fee will be added to your room charge. Cash gratuities for shuttle drivers are appreciated. 

With your Strategic Summit registration, we have arranged a variety of meals and snacks including a reception and dinner Monday night, breakfast and lunch Tuesday, a reception and dinner under the stars Tuesday night, and breakfast on Wednesday morning. For other meal needs, La Cantera Resort & Spa offers a wide variety of dining choices, each with its own unique atmosphere and cuisine. Here are some highlights:

Restaurants at La Cantera Resort & Spa

Sweetfire Kitchen:

  • Cuisine: American with a Texas twist.
  • Ambiance: Casual and family-friendly, featuring an open kitchen.
  • Must Try: The signature breakfast buffet and Texas-style smoked meats.

Signature Restaurant:

  • Cuisine: Fresher, brighter versions of traditional cuisine with Texas spirit. 
  • Ambiance: San Antonio's most exquisite and elevated dining experience.
  • Must Try: Steaks, seafood dishes & an award-winning wine list 

Grille 254:

  • Cuisine: Made from scratch menu
  • Ambiance: Laid-back sports bar, the perfect place to watch "the game"
  • Must Try: Burgers, craft cocktails with 24 beers on tap.

The Lobby Bar:

  • Cuisine: Light bites and drinks.
  • Ambiance: Relaxed, great for unwinding after a long day.
  • Must Try: Signature cocktails and small plates.

Tips for Dining

  • Reservations: It’s a good idea to make reservations, especially for dinner, as the restaurants can get busy.
  • Dress Code: While most dining options are casual, some may have a slightly upscale vibe, so smart casual attire is recommended.
  • Special Dietary Needs: Most restaurants can accommodate dietary restrictions, so don’t hesitate to inform your server.

October is a great month to visit San Antonio, TX! The weather is usually mild and pleasant, making it perfect for outdoor activities. The average high in October is around 80 degrees, while the average low is around 60 degrees. It's generally a dry month so you can enjoy the beautiful fall colors and events in the area. Attire

Business casual attire is encouraged. We do suggest guests bring a sweater or jacket, as meeting rooms tend to be cool. Tuesday's dinner will be on the lawn, comfortable shoes and light weight clothing are recommended.

CPE Credits

Up to 10 CPE credits will be available at Strategic Summit. The event provides a basic program level, and no prerequisites or advance preparation is required. Speakers will provide strategic financial management insights and economic outlooks, along with the latest and most pertinent payment trends.

To qualify for CPE credit, please rate each speaker at the end of each session.
