Curt Long was named head of emerging issues and deputy chief economist in April 2024 after having been chief economist and vice president of research for NAFCU for 14 years. In this role, he conducts economic and financial policy research and provides ongoing economic analysis for America' Credit Unions staff and its member credit unions. Long holds a Master's degree in Economics from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Texas Christian University.
